My friend Marla and author of Keeping Up With Stella waned to perk up her built-in's in her living room. When Marla first moved in she just threw some photos and knick knacks in them and did not have time to arrange them the way she wanted to. So together we set out to "Zhush" (aka to primp or fluff) them up!
Not bad but too many mismatched pictures and the groupings did not work well together.

In order to make them look super FAB, Marla switched out her photos to black and white, bought some new frames, took a trip to HomeGoods, shopped Etsy and hunted through house sales!
She also found an amazing gold damask wallpaper from Graham and Brown, which she and her Dad hung on the back of the bookshelves!

ReplyDeletePhew! I am glad that is over. Now onto painting the HUGE built-in entertainment unit... new tulip table for kitchen (still need chairs)... the 1/2 bath makeover... you are going to be BUSY lady!
