Internal Sun...

Just had to share this....picture of my formal living turned into a spray tan parlor!!! Since I am somewhat crazy I decided I needed a spray tan before I left on vacation, that first day in a suit with pasty white skin is NOT pretty. So I found Celebrity Skin who will spray you in the comfort of your own home :) Becky did an amazing job, killer tan!!!

Delivery From Uzbekistan...

Look what arrived today, my hubby was worried I had resorted to smuggling to make a little extra cash!!! LOL

And here are the lovely suzani pillows cases, two for $72.00!!! I put them in my family room to complement my gorgeous Trina Turk pillows from the one and only Plum Cushion!!!

Pillows from Antiquarian Textiles on ebay, they sell suzani as well as ikat pillows and fabrics.

***I feel as though I should mention a friend and fellow blogger did not have a good experience with this ebay seller but several other bloggers including myself were very happy with the product! Just wanted to mention that.

Amy Butler Towel Update....

Home for a day before I leave again and just opened my new Amy Butler Towels from Bed, Bath and Beyond!!! All I can say is BEYOND cute :) I got the turquoise and orange ones for my baby's bathroom they are so darling and great quality, if you were thinking about them GET them!!!

Packing My Bags...

Bags check, baby check, lots of things to keep baby happy on two hour plane ride check!!!

Taking baby to Hilton Head to visit Gram!!!

Then headed to Anguilla with hubby for some long overdue of RELAXATION!!!

Built-In's and Out's

Recently I have had several people ask me how to arrange their built in's and or bookcases. Believe it or not there is a "proper" way to arrange your goodies.

These are just my thoughts not everyone may agree :)

Here are some Basic Tips:

Less is usually more

Alternate shelf content

Grouping similar colors together

Books are always a great look

Use different heights to create visual interest

Always use goodies you LOVE

Personally I think if using family photos keep to a minimum (just my opinion)

Baby Chic...

Is it wrong that I would love to see my son in this room (not his actual room just photographed in it), ok don't answer that I know the answer!!! But seriously I ADORE this room, if I had a girl I would DIE for this!!! This tufted pink bed is out of this world,

I MUST HAVE IT!!!

Once my little guy is out of his crib (I'm thinking when he's around 5!) I am going to re-do his room just like this. Love the urbane cowboy look including the upholstered zebra headboard and overall sophisticated look.
