Coffee Table Makeover?

I really want Anna Spiro's coffee table for my living but I am sure it cost a million dollars!  I love the white finish, the wideness and the fact that is sits low.  Plus I could display all my books and little nick-knacks :0

So I am thinking I could get this currently on ebay (thanks Kell) for super cheap add some high-gloss white paint and transform it into what I want!!!  It's really wide and sits low too.  What do you think?

Pouf I did it again...

Something about these things I just adore!!!  I spied one when I was looking through some decorating mags and knew right then and there I had to have them.  Not only do they look super cool just about in any room but they are the PERFECT coffee table for people with kids--no sharp edges!!!  After months of research I found the perfect poufs through Tazi Design.  They offer them in a wide range of colors, sizes and they come pre-stuffed (which many companies don't offer) PLUS free shipping.  A word to the wise I would avoid ordering poufs on ebay (usually i love ebay) but I have heard the quality is not good.

Gold Bamboo Anyone?

"Rug-Of-War"

Picking out a rug can be a major headache, I find it extremely confusing.  When I was trying to decide on my family room rug I changed my mind like 100 times, no joke.  After seeing images of diamond patterned jute rugs it all became clear.  I love the pattern, clean lines, and they go with everything!!!  I ended up finding the perfect rug at Pottery Barn which is also an indoor/outdoor rug-BINGO totally baby proof.  Unlike a typical jute rug it's soft on the feet, which makes it all the better!!!

Happy Halloween???

With Halloween around the corner decorations are going up all over the neighborhood!  I have to admit it I am not crazy about halloween in particular halloween colors--orange and black are definitely NOT my colors.  So after researching some alternative ideas here are some images that inspired me!  I am planning on picking up some pumpkins and gourds this week and spray painting them gold and silver --I have the perfect little white iron bench in my front courtyard where I can arrange them, now that's more like it!

Welcome Home!!!

I want to paint my front door a different color, currently my house is pale gray with white trim and the door is slightly darker gray....pretty but kind of uninviting.  My first choice would be pink (of course) but my husband is not digging it to say the least.  

I am thinking about blue, black or maybe red???  Any other thoughts or suggestions please let me know!
